"The future depends on what we do in the present"

The Wildlife Lodge and Clinic’s mission is one of caring for, raising and releasing orphaned and injured wildlife in a manner unique to each species. These birds and mammals are prepared to assimilate into their new environment upon release and live in the wild as nature intended.
We base our care and release on experience backed with scientific knowledge of each individual patient we deal with. Our “high” orphan season runs from March through November. We do raptor triage, migrating bird injuries and any over-wintering of patients the rest of the year.
We have no building, so there are no building maintenance costs as all volunteer care givers donate utilities, housing space for the orphans, cleaning and more throughout the stay of each particular orphan.
The Wildlife Lodge and Clinic receives NO funding from any local agencies. As a non-profit (501C3) organization all donations or grants are directly used to benefit the birds and animals we care for. Any monetary donations received by the public are tax-deductible and are used for direct orphan care, species specific foods, medicines, cleaning and sterilizing supplies, anti-parasitic medicine, IV fluids, pre-exposure rabies vaccines for volunteers, heating equipment and a variety of ever progressing housing and habitat containment systems until the orphans are deemed to be releasable into the wild.
